Q: Why did you start this blog?
A: Well, I’m glad you asked. Like many people in this crappy economy, I suddenly found myself with no job, no life, and a ridiculous amount of free time on my hands. I tend to watch a lot of TV during this free time and I have a lot of opinions. So I figured what better way to voice my opinions (and also kill some free time) than to start a blog.
Q: Wow you seem to watch a lot of TV. How much do you watch a week?
A: More than I care to admit – next question.
Q: What would you do without TV?
A: Excellent question. Let me ponder that one for a moment…without TV I would probably be a much better and more well-rounded human being. I might also cry though…does watching TV on the internet count?????
Q: What were your favorite TV shows growing up?
A: There are probably too many to name, but I’ll give it a shot. Growing up some of my favs were Punky Brewster, 90210, Silver Spoons, Cheers, and Just the Ten of Us. I was also obsessed with the Nick at Nite line-up of Patty Duke, Dobie Gillis, Bewitched, and Mary Tyler Moore. In case you were wondering my parent’s didnt’ exactly limit the amount of TV I watched or even what I watched – it was awesome.
Q: What’s on your Tivo?
A: My Tivo playlist is a thing of beauty. It’s almost like an art to me. It has the perfect combination of classic and new TV, so I always have something to watch. In fact, I just hooked up my old Tivo box and discovered the following items on it: half of Lost Season 3, a crapload of Friends and 90210 epsisodes, Ghostbusters II, two episodes of Ghost Hunters, and Crash. It was glorious.
Q: Did you make up all these questions to make yourself feel cooler?
A. Yes…yes I did.
